What has four wheel drive, 818bhp and a four wheel TAROX brake kit? Fensports infamous GT4 X, that’s what!

Fensport has long been the go-to powerhouse for all things Toyota 3S-GTE engined and they’ve build some of the fastest sprint cars the UK has had to offer in their time. The GT4 X concept was born out of disappointment that Toyota chose not to offer a 4wd version of the 7th Generation Celica.

Fensport already had a killer formula with a proven drivetrain and power plant in thier Corolla build, so this concept was transferred over to the Celica project. They didn’t start with just any old 7th gen though, this car was based on the TRD M Sport which comes from factory with lightening and strengthening for motorsport use. The result is a car much lighter than the GT4 the powertrain is taken from.

We’re talking sub 1200kgs full laden sort of weight here and with 800+bhp going to four wheels, it’s no surprise it is incredibly fast. Top speed is recorded as 202.22 mph, it will sprint a 1/4 mile in 9.74 seconds and even came 4th at the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb event. A staggering feat for a non works car!
